Why homeowners here call us

A roof in this town takes more punishment than most.

Colorado Springs sits a little over 6,000 feet up, on the edge of one of the most hail-prone stretches of the country. A summer cell can drop golf-ball ice on Briargate while Fountain stays dry, then winter loads the same shingles with snow and runs them through freeze and thaw. At this altitude the sun bakes asphalt harder too, so granules wear off faster than they would at sea level.

We set up every job around that reality: the inspection looks for hail bruising, not just missing pieces; the quote shows an impact-rated option; and anything that needs a permit goes through the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department before work starts.

  • One visit, written findingsPhotos of the damage, the roof's measurements and what we would do, in plain words you can forward to an adjuster.
  • Claims handled with you, not for youWe meet the adjuster on the roof and document what we see. Coverage is your carrier's call, and your deductible stays yours.
  • Military families welcomePlenty of our calls come from homes near Fort Carson, Peterson and Schriever. If a PCS move is on the calendar, tell us the date and we plan around it.
The short version

Three numbers worth knowing before you hire anyone

24/7

Phone line, every day

Our call assistant picks up whatever the time, takes the address and the damage, and a person follows up the same day.

Class 4

Impact rating we quote

The top result on the UL 2218 steel-ball impact test, the rating made with hail country in mind. We price it next to standard shingles so you can compare.

$0

For the roof inspection

Ladder up, roof and attic checked, photos sent to you. No charge and no pressure to sign anything.

Every roof is different from Manitou to the plains

Steep Victorian gables on the hillside, ponderosa lots in Monument and Black Forest, new two-stories out on the Falcon prairie, mountain cabins under the north face of the peak. Pick a town to see what we watch for there.

Common questions

What people ask us first

Short answers here. The full FAQ covers warranties, financing, HOAs and more.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Colorado Springs?

Yes. A full reroof needs a building permit from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, which covers Colorado Springs, Fountain, Manitou Springs, Woodland Park and unincorporated El Paso County. We pull it and schedule the inspection. Patching a few shingles usually does not need one.

Will my insurance pay for hail damage?

It depends on your policy, your deductible and what the adjuster finds. We document the damage with photos and measurements and can be on the roof when the adjuster comes. The carrier makes the coverage decision.

Are you licensed?

Colorado has no statewide roofing license. Roofers working in the Pikes Peak region register with PPRBD and carry insurance, and the contractors we send do both. We do not quote license numbers that do not exist.

How fast can someone come out after a storm?

Call and give us the address. Active leaks and opened-up roofs go to the front of the line for a tarp; inspections usually follow within a few days in a busy hail week.

From the first call to the final inspection

How a job runs with us

1

You call or fill in the form

Give us the address and what you have noticed. If water is coming in, say so and we send someone with a tarp first.

2

We get on the roof

Shingles, flashing, vents, gutters and the attic are checked. You get the photos the same day.

3

You get a written scope

What needs doing, what it costs, and an impact-rated option. For hail, a copy formatted for your adjuster.

4

Permit, work, cleanup

The PPRBD permit is pulled, the crew installs, magnets sweep for nails, and the final inspection is booked.

Where we work

Colorado Springs and the towns around it

All of Colorado Springs, from Briargate and Northgate down to Stratmoor and Broadmoor, plus the El Paso County towns below and Woodland Park in Teller County. Peyton and Calhan farther east are covered too.
