Roof repair cost in Colorado Springs
Typical ranges for the repairs we do most often, and the things that push a price up or down.

These are planning ranges for typical homes in Colorado Springs and El Paso County, not quotes. Your written estimate, given after someone has been on the roof, is the price.
Common repairs and typical ranges
| Repair | Typical range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Replace a few damaged shingles | $250 – $600 | Depends on matching and how many |
| Pipe boot replacement | $200 – $450 | Per vent; often several are done at once |
| Wall or chimney flashing | $400 – $1,200 | More if siding or stucco must be opened |
| Ridge cap re-run after wind | $350 – $900 | Length of ridge and pitch matter most |
| Valley repair | $500 – $1,500 | Higher if decking under the valley is wet |
| Emergency tarp | $300 – $900 | Size of opening and roof height |
What moves the price
- Pitch and height. Steep or two-story roofs need more safety setup and take longer.
- Matching. Discontinued shingle colours sometimes mean buying a full bundle for a few pieces.
- What is underneath. Soft decking found when shingles come up is added only after you see it.
- Access. Tight lots, steep driveways in the foothills and snow all add time.
When a repair stops being good value
If repair quotes add up to a meaningful share of a new roof, or the roof has had hail damage across most slopes, compare it against replacement pricing. We will show you both numbers.
Quick answers
Is there a charge to come out and look?
No. The inspection and the repair price are free; you pay only for work you approve.
Can a repair be covered by insurance?
If the damage came from hail or wind, possibly. Normal wear is not covered by most policies.
